Script and methodology:

Parameter Setup: Using number sliders, the following are defined.

• Bay Dimensions
• Number of Bays per Floor
• Number of Floors.
• Random Seed Values
• Shading Extent

Bay Geometry: Define a grid of bays based on the number of floors and bays per floor.

List Sides: Two sequential sides of a bay are randomly listed, defining the direction of the shape to be extruded (perpendicular to the diagonal connecting them).

Defining Surfaces: Using the direction of extrusion, a third point can be defined using the shading extent parameter and then moved out of frame to provide depth. This third point and the start/end points of the chosen bay boundary define the surfaces.

Results:
